Zenith Hosts Summer and Fall Gatherings

The 2009 Open Hangar Day at Zenith.

Zenith Aircraft Company Fly In to Summer Builder Fly-In Gathering is scheduled for Saturday, June 26, 2010, at the Zenith factory located at Mexico Memorial Airport (KMYJ) in Mexico, Missouri. Aviation enthusiasts, especially builders and owners of Zenith kit planes, are invited to drive or fly in for the day.

This will be a fun, informal gathering of Zenith builders, fliers, and aviation enthusiasts. A workshop and lunch are planned.  The gathering is an excellent opportunity for owners and builders of Zenith Aircraft planes to meet with each other and to tour the Zenith Aircraft facilities.

On the two days prior to the gathering, Zenith is hosting one of its popular factory workshops where participants gain hands-on kit aircraft building experience. (Prior registration is required to attend the workshop).

19th Annual Open Hangar Day

On Saturday, September 18, Zenith will host its 19th annual Open Hangar Day and Fly-in at the Zenith factory. Aviation enthusiasts, especially builders and owners of Zenith planes, are encouraged to attend. Starting Friday afternoon, a number of workshops are scheduled, and the Zenith Aircraft kit production facilities will be open for factory tours on Saturday. Staff members will demonstrate kit production and fabrication techniques used in producing the all-metal kit aircraft parts. The company's kit and LSA models will be on display, including the high-wing STOL CH 750 and the sleek low-wing ZODIAC CH 650. Select suppliers also plan to attend to showcase their products and meet with builders. For more information on attending, visit www.zenithair.com.

Hands-On Factory Workshops

Zenith Aircraft Company also hosts monthly workshops at the factory. Spend two days at Zenith learning about constructing your own kit airplane by building your own rudder tail section. If you've always dreamed of building an airplane, or simply want to learn more about all-metal aircraft construction, Zenith Aircraft offers the opportunity to learn all about building a Zenith kit. Small group sizes make the workshops productive and educational. Come prepared to work and experience first-hand how to build your own kit airplane! You don’t need any experience, skills or tools to attend, and you can take a demo flight as well. For more details on workshops, visit www.zenithair.com/events.htm.
