RV12 Action Camera Interface

Van's Aircraft has a new VIRB action camera interface in the RV12 that works with the newly introduced Garmin G3X Touch avionics suite. In this video, KITPLANES magazine's Larry Anglisano took the system flying at the 2015 U.S. Sport Aviation Expo in Sebring, Florida, for a closer look.

  1. I like the idea of the integrated camera view in the MFD, but hate the camera location. You would tend to coat the lens or filters with oil, plus the exposure to runway debris, bugs, rain, etc. Seems like a mount inside that beautiful canopy behind the pilot would be a safer bet
