It's Here - But you'll have to wait...

Sonex Waiex-B

It's Launch minus one day here at Sun 'n Fun, and vendors are busy unloading trailers and trucks with all the goodies homebuilders want to see. If you've already seen many of the press releases, and now you want to get up close and personal with the latest avionics, engine or airframe innovations, you need to join us in Lakeland as the fling season gets started!

We got a brief peek at lots of things we can't share until their official unveiling - like the new "B"-Model from Sonex, a wider, roomier fuselage that allows not only more cabin space, but wider engines as well. There are a couple of fine looking machines sporting Rotec Radial engines this year - gleaming in the sun like visions of yesterday, but thoroughly modern. If avionics are your thing, there are new offerings from all the regular players - not to mention the usual assortment of hardware vendors if you are running low on stocks of fiber locknuts, cotter pins, or anything else you need to complete your project.

Airplanes began arriving in significant numbers today, so take advantage of the fine weather here in central Florida and we'll see you on the flight line.
