Pot Luck, Oshkosh Style

The day started slow, with a low overcast and rain, an excellent day to visit the EAA museum. Then it was off to the seaplane base to see the Martin Mars water bomber. Finally the sky lifted, and in came the airplanes! Runways 27, 18L, and 18R offered nonstop action all afternoon, with happy crowds watching and (sometimes loudly) rating the landings.

Homebuilders are a creative lot, and that creativity can take many forms. This evening’s entertainment under the big tent at Homebuilt Camping was The Beer Swap, a pot luck pool of beer choices from every corner of the continent. When you finish your baby and take it to OSH, be sure to tuck in the best from your home town!
