Annual Friday Night Volunteer Welcome Dinner

The EAA Homebuilt Pavilion was the scene of the annual Friday night welcome dinner for all of the early Homebuilt volunteers. Hosted by Jerry Fischer, the Homebuilt Camping Chairman, as a thank you for all of their hard work, with Jack Pelton and Charlie Becker as guest speakers.

So far the weather has kept many pilots away from Oshkosh, as it really looks like OSH is the center of a low pressure. We could actually watch the clouds spinning around OSH in a counterclockwise circle during dinner, along with one storm that tried to soak us.

Saturday's weather is not looking a whole lot better, but the the rest of the week looks great, and the Aircraft parking volunteers are gearing up for a very busy Sunday. Take your time if you are flying in, and keep your head on a swivel. Be safe!
