Well, the weather came back with a vengeance today at SNF, but nothing stops the dedicated crew at Van's from helping a builder. So here we are prior to opening day at SUN N FUN 2018 and I managed to catch the Scoopmaster himself, Paul Dye, with Mitch Lock, the President of Van's Aircraft. The Light Sport Expo in Sebring Florida is in full swing for the 3rd day. Lots of vendors and foot traffic as well. Unfortunately, the winds are howling today and have curtailed the flying activities. Tomorrow looks more promising, and of course it is Florida in the winter time so a fly out on a Saturday is a big hit!
What a spectacular sunrise on opening day at the DeLand Sport Aviation Showcase. There is a great turnout of vendors, with approximately 40 Aircraft on display. The weather is beautiful in Florida this time of year so the flying is perfect. Continue reading "DeLand Sport Aviation Showcase Opens"
The European contingent was in full force at the RV social, represented by Luca "Luke" Perazzolli and Francesco "Franz" Dante form northern Italy, and Yves Heller, from Switzerland.
